Kara Marsh
Chief Compliance Officer
Kara Marsh is the Chief Compliance Officer of Private Capital Management. She is responsible for managing the firm's daily risk management activities and supervising its compliance operations.
Kara joined Private Capital Management in 2022 and chairs the Private Capital Management Risk Oversight Committee. She previously sat on the bank’s Diversity Council from 2022-2024.
Kara has a Master of Studies in Law from the University of Colorado Boulder Law School. There she studied Ethics & Compliance, focusing on developing corporate in-house compliance programs. She has a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University.
Kara launched her career in the non-profit sector, focusing on supporting survivors of trauma and abuse. She is dedicated to empowering individuals and fostering stronger communities.
Kara enjoys spending her free time volunteering, tending to her plants, and drinking coffee. She loves trying new food in Denver and traveling around the world.
