Jason Alderson joined Private Capital Management as a Financial Advisor in 2021. In addition to his role as Financial Advisor, Jason is a member of the firm’s Financial Planning Committee. Jason is passionate about financial planning and investment management and uses his industry experience to develop and implement customized solutions for his clients’ diverse needs.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science with a major in finance and minor in accounting from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, Jason began honing his wealth advisory skills in the investment management group of a private bank and trust company. Jason’s career has afforded him the opportunities to work in roles ranging from operations and analytics to portfolio management and financial planning. As a Certified Financial Planner Professional™, Jason has worked to become a thought leader within the financial planning community. He was previously the Chair (2022) and President (2021) of the Financial Planning Association of Colorado. Jason is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™, practitioner.
Jason is passionate about giving back and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Shalom Park, a nursing home where his father was a resident for nearly seven years. He also sits on the Business Development and Community Engagement Committee of the Community First Foundation.
When not working, you can find Jason enjoying one of Colorado’s golf courses, traveling, or spending time with his husband and their two retrievers.
