Collin Schmidt is a Managing Director at Private Capital Management and serves on the firms Executive Leadership Team and the Investment Committee. Over the last 10 years, Collin has applied his wealth advisory services experience and a deep background in investments, finance and taxation to help clients develop and maintain long-term strategies for preserving, protecting, and enhancing their wealth.
Before joining Private Capital Management, Collin was an advisor and partner of Wagner Wealth Management, where he provided financial planning and investment management services to clients, while also managing the firms portfolio management. And before starting in wealth management, Collin was an accountant for Schmidt & Associates CPA, where he helped clients prepare and complete tax preparation, while also completing small business tax consulting and auditing services.
Collin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University. Collin is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.
A Colorado native, Collin is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys basketball, golf, skiing, and hiking, while also frequently visiting the many great restaurants Colorado has to offer. He also spends his time volunteering for Lutheran Family Services and Habitat for Humanity.
Otherwise, Collin can be found spending quality time with his 3 amazing ladies - his wife Kelsey, daughter Parker, and yellow-lab puppy, Sadie.
