Giles R. A. Fox, CFA®
Director of Research
Giles is a Director of Research and member of the Investment Committee. His primary role includes investment research and analysis, maintaining our quantitative model, financial planning, and working with clients. Prior to joining Private Capital Management in 2012, Giles was the founder of his own Denver-based investment firm, Fox Investment Advisors. Previously, Giles spent ten years at Denver Investments as a Portfolio Manager and Equity Analyst and was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Tempest Investment Counselors until it merged into Denver Investments.
Giles holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and a Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Virginia. Giles is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder, is a member of the CFA Institute and a member and past president of the CFA Society of Colorado.
Giles is involved in several local not-for-profit boards, including the Investment Committee at St. John’s Cathedral, where he currently serves as Chair.
