Giles R. A. Fox, CFA®
Director of Research, Senior Financial Advisor
With 39 years of investment experience, Giles is a Senior Advisor, Director of Research and a member of the Investment Committee. His primary roles include working with clients, managing portfolios, financial planning and maintaining our quantitative model. Prior to joining Private Capital Management in 2012, Giles was the founder of his own Denver-based firm, Fox Investment Advisors. Previously Giles spent 10 years at Denver Investments as a Portfolio Manager and Analyst and was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Tempest Investments Counselors until it merged into Denver Investments.
Giles holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and a Master's in Business Administration from The University of Virginia. Giles is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charter holder, is a member of the CFA Institute and a member and past president of the CFA Society of Colorado.
Giles serves on several local not-for-profit boards including chairing the Investment Committee at St. John’s Cathedral and president of the Madge M. & Joseph T. Mohar Foundation.
