David Kirkpatrick
EVP, Managing Director of Private Wealth & SS Private Capital Management
David Kirkpatrick is an Executive Vice President and Managing Director of SouthState Private Capital Management and Private Wealth. In this role, he leads the delivery of comprehensive wealth management solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families.
David earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and an MBA from the University of South Carolina and is a Certified Financial Planner®. He began his career in financial services in 2002 and joined SouthState Bank in 2013. Prior to that, he served as a Portfolio Manager for a large regional bank, advising clients across South Carolina.
Active in his community, David is the past Board Chair and current Board Treasurer of Homeless No More and serves as a Trustee of Shandon Presbyterian Church. He is also a former Board Member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and past President and Board Member of the Palmetto Baseball League.
David and his wife, Catherine, have two children and reside in Columbia, SC.
