“Putting her fears to rest was key in establishing trust and confidence that she could get through this.”

A long-time client and friend of the firm was faced with a devastating diagnosis – Alzheimer’s.  He had been the primary person managing their personal wealth but was slipping quickly.  His wife, often not involved in our normal meetings, was overwhelmed with the reality of what she would need to learn, and the permanent change their life would take.  Putting her fears to rest was key in establishing trust and confidence that she could get through this.

Wagner Wealth assisted in reviewing the assets they had spread across many brokerage firms and advisors, ensured their estate plan was in order and assets were titled properly, and helped facilitate their transition to a local assisted living facility.  She needed support in reviewing contracts and payment option between insurance, savings and the facility while she was busy packing and preparing for a move.  We were able to work with the facility directly on payment and help coordinate some of the details of the move.  Today, we continued to involve both clients in the meetings and are now including their daughters to help support their mom during this time of transition.
